Now available for FREE on our Free Downloads page.
These pages are a supplement for copies of the original verson Rocket Math (purchased before 2011) which had division problems with zero as an answer.
NOTE: SINCE 1/1/2011 ALL COPIES OF ROCKET MATH HAVE INCLUDED THESE ALTERNATIVE PAGES.
Rocket Math has bowed to pressure from customers who disagreed with us on the division issue. We have created a set of 50 alternative replacement pages for the last half of division which no longer include problems which have zero as an answer.
Beginning in Set L of the original version of Rocket Math Division we created problems where the divisor (what you are dividing by) is larger than the dividend (what you are dividing into). These kinds of problems occur in long division. The answer is zero for these problems. We know that in a long division problem there would be more steps, but we simply wanted students to recognize that, for example, “nine doesn’t go into eight” and therefore the answer is zero.
But some of you didn’t agree with us. So now we have replacement pages so you can eliminate all of those problems with zero as an answer and finish division without these problems.
