Rocket Chart for Online Tutor (Game)

Students color in the boxes on this Rocket Chart to keep track of their progress as they work through the A to Z sequence of each Learning Track. This is a visible record of their progress and success.  Because they work hard to make progress, they have pride in their accomplishment.  Support that self-esteem boost!

Teachers need to print this out for every student.  Parents who are doing this at home also need to print this out for their students.  To print this out, click on this link to the printable pdf of Rocket Chart.

The first, most important step in motivating students to do Rocket Math.

There is a place to indicate which of the 16 Learning Tracks they are working on. (There is an implied challenge to complete all 16! And Rocket Math has a trophy for those who do!)  Students need to save the Rocket Chart, perhaps in a folder, so they can pull it out to color in each day.   Be sure to give students time each day to color the parts they have finished.

If teachers or parents have enabled the Daily Progress Report email they will receive an email each morning telling them who has completed levels the day before and therefore who should be coloring in sections.

Keeping track of their progress is very important to the students!

Admiring their progress is an important part of motivating them. Sharing it with parents at conferences is important too.

It looks like this when they are coloring it in!
