No gotcha’s on the free trial. It just ends unless you take action. If your current subscription is the free trial, it expires when it’s over. If you do not choose to start a “next” subscription, that will be all there is to it.
To renew or continue or change your subscription
follow these 4 steps to arrange your “next subscription.”
You don’t have to stick with the number you have currently. Pricing is shown above, but is fairly simple.
One to 19 seats cost $3.89 each per year.
Twenty to 99 seats are $2 each per year. [Note: 20 seats are less expensive than 11, so don’t order 11 to 19.]
100 or more seats are $1 each. [Note: 100 seats are less expensive than 51, so don’t order 51 to 99.]
Note you can play with different amounts in the “number of seats field” and it will show you the price.
Step 2. Choose the start date.
Decide when you want the next subscription to start–upon expiration of your current subscription or immediately, like today. Normally, you’ll want your next subscription to begin when the current one ends. If you want to change your subscription then you will probably want that change to take effect immediately.
Step 3. Choose your payment method.
Step 4. You are not done until you click the green button “Purchase Next Subscription.”
PayPal–you’re welcome to use this if you have such an account. If you use Pay Pal you are familiar with how it works.
Credit cards–this operates through Stripe.com. It will ask for the email of your account–so we can credit the payment to the right account. Then it will ask you for your credit card number and verification info. You will be charged as soon as it goes through.
Purchase orders–only schools are allowed to use Purchase Orders and there is a minimum order of $49. There are two options, depending upon whether you (1) already gotten an approved PO or (2) need someone to create one for you.
(1) If you already have an approved PO. When you click this option, the purchase order fields open up. All the fields in the PO section need to be completed (except the 2nd Street Address) in order for this to go through. We take that information and create an invoice in QuickBooks which we send to the person you say should get it. The invoice is due in 30 days. Putting in this PO number means you are promising that such a PO has been approved and for the amount you are incurring. Be sure to hit the green button when done.
(2) You need a PO to be created by someone else in your system. Choose this option and you can input the email address of the person who can approve or create a Purchase Order, and the system will automatically send them an email with the details they need to create a PO. It will tell them the number of seats you set in #1, and the price, etc. We’ll start your subscription assuming they will approve and send us a PO. Obviously if they don’t approve or don’t send it to Rocket Math, we will suspend your account. Be sure to hit the green button when done, so the email goes to the person who can help you generate the PO.
We can create quotes for you, if the above email doesn’t work in your system. Just let us know.
To change the number of seats in your subscription–just set up a new “next” subscription that starts today.
If you want to change the number of seats in your subscription the only way to do that is to create a new “next” subscription with that number of seats, and you’ll want it to begin today.
If you start your new subscription today (before the current subscription ends), you will be charged for the next subscription at the usual rate but then we will manually give you a credit for the unused portion of your previous subscription. Please, don’t do that lightly, as the refunds and up-charges get pretty complicated, but you’re welcome to make that change. Also note that you don’t want to have fewer seats than you have assigned with student logins. Please erase the logins of any students who won’t be on the new subscription.
